INFANT

6 Weeks - 1 Year

Katie’s Kids Preschool offers an infant program that not only meets the needs of your infants but allows them to be on their own schedule. Infants are able to eat and sleep as they want throughout the day. All our little ones are interacted with and played with, the type of play is based on their age and development. As they grow and develop more activities are planned for them. Our infant room has a ratio of 1:5 with a total enrollment of 10 children in the class.

TODDLERS

Here For You

12 - 24 months
Transitioning from the infant room to the toddler room can be a hard. We provide a room that is set up to help your little one transition from the infant room to the toddler room. Just because they have aged out of the infant room and are ready to does not mean they are ready for the toddler room. We have a smaller environment with less children that provides them with the stability and confidence they will need before entering the toddler room. Our toddler room has a 1:6 ratio with a total enrollment of 12 students in the class.

PRESCHOOL

Life Full of Joy

3 - 4 years
Our preschool teachers will provide a variety of activities that will help your child to learn to socialize with their peers and academically prepare them for school. Your child’s teachers will provide them with daily seatwork, arts and crafts, group games, and activities such as but not limited to dress-up, puzzles, and manipulatives. They will do a daily circle time where they will learn but not limited to the days of the week, numbers, colors and shapes. Our preschool room has a 1:12 ratio with a total enrollment of 24 students in the classroom.

PRE-K

Developing Confidence

4 - 6 years
We offer a balance of freedom and instruction. Pre-K is designed as an interactive learning community where kids build skills vital to success in kindergarten, gain respect for others, and develop a strong sense of confidence. Our Pre-K room has a 1:12 ratio with a total enrollment of 24 students in the class.

LESSONS

Oh The Fun

Age-appropriate lessons are designed and implemented throughout the school day. Children are given the opportunity to explore and learn by imaginative and cooperative play, using fine motor skills, and social and independent interactions.

OUTDOOR PLAY

A Perfect Fit

Playing outside is fantastic for helping children practice their physical abilities. Exercises such as running, jumping, skipping and playing ball games not only strengthen little muscles, but they can also help with gross motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and overall health and wellbeing.

IMAGINATIVE PLAY

What You Need

Imagination driven play builds your young child's developmental skills. The process of pretending builds skills in many essential developmental areas. Social and Emotional Skills. When your child engages in pretend (or dramatic) play, they are actively experimenting with the social and emotional roles of life.
