With our progressive and holistic early childhood education philosophy, we understand that each child has unique needs and interests. We provide the environment and tools your child needs to thrive to the best of their abilities. When we expose children to different environments and various learning experiences, we allow them to explore their self-awareness and gain a sense of the world around them. Once they leave Katie's Kids Preschool, they’re fully prepared for the next stage of their young lives.
OUR STORY
HOW KATIE'S KIDS PRESCHOOL BEGAN
In 1989 I was blessed with my first son. Being a young mom, I found myself struggling with leaving my son. I was new to the area and I didn't know anyone or anywhere to find loving, quality childcare. At that point, I leaned on my love of children and opened my own small family childcare center.
In 1991, we added to our family once more by welcoming our second son. After 11 years in small family childcare, I decided to open a large family childcare and bring on some employees.
Our daughter joined us in 1999 and I was staying home with all three children and helping other families to raise the best little people and future amazing adults that we could. Together.
I have been running in-home childcare for over 27 years. I made a promise to myself that I would stay home until my youngest child entered her senior year of high school and then I would branch off and spread my wings by opening a preschool (and get out of the house).
I am currently living my dream. I must say it has been a great adventure serving children's needs. My goal is to continue to provide a loving, quality environment where families feel heard and cared for.
